What is an FFL?
Federal Firearms License. A license that is required for
anyone or business dealing in the purchasing or selling of firearms.
How do I sell my gun?
Federal, State and Local Firearms Laws are very complex and
most people are uncomfortable or not sure of the legal way
to sell a firearm to another individual. To legally protect
yourself you can do two things:
1. Sell directly to us. This removes the gun from your name
and we will legally find it a new home.
2. If you already have a buyer, bring the gun in to us and
we transfer it out of your name and hold it for the new
owner or transfer it to another FFL holder if it is being
shipped out of town.
I live in another state, can I buy a gun(s) here?
Yes, you can purchase your gun from any dealer. However,
handguns will have to be transferred to your
local FFL dealer where you can pick it up. Residents of some states
may be able to purchase long guns (rifles or shotguns) at dealers in other states
withot having to have them transferred. Handguns can
only be picked up at a dealer in your home state.
